This place has a nice small town vibe while still feeling like you are in a city. The food is great and the prices are decent for the portions. Their breakfast food is absolutely fantastic. I love the Odd Couple, personally. Their burgers are also quite good. I love the theme of the place, with ships and sailor regalia throughout the place. The service is not too noteworthy, but it is not close to bad. Overall, it's a great stop.

I've eaten here before. Today was a bad experience. The hash browns were soaking in oil. The waitress got my order wrong, then wanted to tell me that's not what I asked for. The edges of the pancakes we're hard. I don't know if it's a new cook or under different management. Had to move the hash browns off my plate, too oily.

Great food at great prices. The service is always on point, and I've never been disappointed leaving. My favorite order is the Panquake, all you can eat pancakes with 2 eggs and a choice of meat for only $7.50.

Trade winds was a favorite breakfast spot for me 20+ years ago when I was in college. So glad to see it is going strong. A great local spot for a hearty breakfast. Got the Roadhouse Hash which did not disappoint. My daughter had a waffle with strawberries which she loved. Server was very friendly and attentive. The coffee could be a little stronger, but our server did make sure I always had a full cup!

The food here is just okay. We had a long way to order and to get our food and to get our check. The restaurant was very busy during this trip. The server was friendly and you got a good amount of food for the price. However, I probably won't be coming back here very often because the food tasted blend to me.

Food is great, so you ask why 3 Stars, well it's because they changed something that bothers me a great deal.Used to be you eat, and go pay at the register in the front, your credit or debit card is never out of sight.Well so I went there for breakfast one morning, I ate, went to front register to pay, where I was told I have to give my card to the server, where she takes it to a place in the back, with her back to me.She could've been taking my information down, and what could I do about it..I won't be back, to many restaurants out there that let you pay at the front, your card never leaves your hand.

I've been eating here since i was a little kid and every time me and my family are met with great attitudes, good service, and some absolutely GLORIOUS food Tradewinds is by far my favorite place to just sit down and eat some good freaking food...personal recommendation try the waffle

Delicious food! Not always quick service, but everyone is friendly. The kids even get free crayons! The takeout was wonderful. Everyone should come here.

Great food & amazing staff! Our waitress was very polite, friendly & helpful. This was my husband's 1st time here & my 2nd (1st time was when I was like 10 🤣). We had breakfast for lunch. We are looking forward to experiencing lunch & dinner food.

Great atmosphere for family and friends food is priced decent. Parking can be difficult and if you come after 10 am the usually no wait. Service was great and fast. Order the Santa Fe skillet $8.75 and 1/2 order French toast $3.35 lrg Orange Juice $2.00 total bill $14.10 not including gratuity. Food Was Great!!

"I have patronized & eaten at The Tradewinds Restaurant since they Opened in Mid 80's! I feel at home there, and Always am welcomed by name..I have even been invited to Employees Weddings and Receptions ! You could say. I have made some nice friends in this Staff and family! They make me feel like Family also!! My go-to Place!!

The place is pretty busy around 1 or 2. Very friendly workers. Food served less than 15 minutes after ordering, but a little slow on refills. Great selection of food. Has breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. I spend about 45 minutes here when I eat.

The food was very bland. No seasoning at all. The appetizers were the best part of the meal. Spent $60 on 2 people.. I dont think it was worth the money. Dont think I'll be going back.

Ate here this morning there was a clear hair in my husband’s sandwich, the lady said it was from the egg wash..... then she was informed that it was not French toast so then she said it was cheese.... clearly doesn’t know what they are doing

Tradewinds offers great food at a great price. I typically order the notre dame sandwich which has turkey, mayo, lettuce, tomato and I believe on sour doe bread. I love that sandwich but my friend has convinced me to try other things like their plate of shrimp and chicken sandwiches. The atmosphere is pleasant and peaceful but can definitely get crowded during notre dame football season. I recommend this place very much.

Place is delicious! Fried green tomatoes are awesome. I had the veggie melt and French fries with cheese sauce. I got italian dressing for my sandwich since there was no sauce on the sandwich itself.
